The Urban Dynamism of Yokohama (2013)

Graphic Design, Presentation Planning

As part of a class named "Urban Dynamism of Yokohama" taken during my year of study abroad at Yokohama National University, I was tasked with preparing a tour guide and a presentation to sell such a tour package. Centering ourselves around the idea of celebrating Yokohama's history in a fun way -- through its legacy of being a port town and being the birthplace of Japanese beer -- we devised a one-day tour involving a visit to the Kirin brewery in Namamugi town, a tour of the seaside Minato Mirai 21 development, and, of course, the experience of sailing in the bay at nighttime, taking in the breathtaking skyline of the city.

The accompanying presentation was so unlike anything the professor in charge of the class had seen that he asked what I used to create it, but all I did was push PowerPoint to a level that not many other people would take it. This basis of PowerPoint knowledge would go on to help me during my contract at GuideSpark.
