Video Reel (2015)

Premiere, After Effects, PowerPoint, Graphic Design, Broadcast Production, Video Production

More than actually showing off my work, this was a test for me to see whether I could make an engaging one-minute video reel from whatever miscellaneous projects that I've worked on. In case you're curious, though, here's a short blurb on everything that did get featured:

Yokohama Timelapse Collection: During my time in Yokohama, I had the opportunity to take a number of timelapse and B-roll shots. They weren't used in much, but the results still looked pretty awesome.

Can I Kantai? You Too Can Teitoku! featuring Daniel Le (photography), Warton Chan (panelist), and Carl Valencia (panelist) was a panel at Anime Expo 2014 exploring the world of the popular Internet game Kantai Collection; I was charged with the creation of the resulting Web-friendly version of the presentation, which was uploaded to YouTube.

Jeff's DDR Marathon for Charity was a broadcast stream in which we raised more than $16,000 for charity by having my friend Jeff Lloyd play the popular arcade game Dance Dance Revolution for slightly more than 16 hours straight (more details here).

On and On is a song by the Japanese band Jazzin' Park. I decided to make a kinetic typography piece set to the song as a means to teach myself basic After Effects skills. It's still a work in progress, but the finished parts look so nice that I had to sneak a verse in.
